- Energy Storage Technology
Built to last.
Engineered for extreme conditions.
Golden Lion Services supplies Lithium Titanate Oxide (LTO) battery systems — the only chemistry that delivers full performance in both extreme heat and extreme cold. From a West African home to a European minigrid, every product is backed by tier-one manufacturing, independent certification, and deployments across six continents.
- West Africa & Tropical Markets
The only battery that thrives in the heat.
Most batteries on the market were designed for temperate European climates. In West African heat above 35°C, standard lithium-ion degrades rapidly, loses capacity, and risks thermal runaway. LTO chemistry is fundamentally different — it delivers full rated performance at high temperatures, not reduced performance. No active cooling required. No fire risk. No capacity loss in summer.
- Europe & Cold-Climate Markets
Full performance through a European winter.
Standard lithium-ion batteries lose significant capacity in cold weather — sometimes 20–40% below 0°C. LTO chemistry operates at full rated capacity down to −40°C with no derating, no heating requirement, and no performance penalty. For Balkan winters, Scandinavian installations, or any site where temperatures regularly drop below freezing, LTO is the only chemistry that does not compromise on cold-weather performance.
- Battery Products
Three products. Every scale.
All three systems share the same LTO chemistry — the same zero thermal runaway safety, the same extreme temperature performance, and the same tier-one manufacturing. The difference is scale.

- CANBUS BMS with cell-level protection and fault detection
- Single-rack format — compact, structured installation
- Minigrids
Community energy — from 4 homes to entire villages.
A minigrid connects individual solar and battery systems across multiple homes or buildings into a shared network. Each property generates and stores its own power, but surplus energy flows automatically to neighbours who need it — making the whole community stronger than the sum of its parts.
Golden Lion Services designs hybrid mesh minigrids using GLE-N or GLE-T batteries linked via a shared 48V DC bus. No central controller is required. The system is fully operational from the very first cluster and grows at whatever pace the community — or its funders — choose.
As the network grows, a mathematically proven statistical effect delivers up to 40% more effective battery capacity at 50 homes — at no additional hardware cost.
Growth stages
PILOT
4 homes, 1 cluster — fully operational immediately. EBRD/KfW pilot-eligible.
Early growth
8–20 homes — new clusters connect. Statistical buffering begins.
Village
50 homes — ~40% effective battery capacity gain.
District
City scale
500+ homes — maximum statistical efficiency. Coincidence factor exceeds 2.0.
